Aberdares National Park is diverse with deep ravines that cut through the forested slopes with many clear streams and waterfalls. The Aberdares are an important water catchment area providing water to the Tana and Athi rivers and part of Central Rift and Northern drainage basins.
DAY 1 - Enter Aberdares National Park
You need a 4x4 vehicle for this park. Clear with the park gate procedures and proceed to a mid morning game drive inside the park, please carry your packed lunch for day 1. After lunch in the wild, continue with game drives ending at the KAruru falls, this place offers a magnificient scenery for photography.
Proceed to Reedbuck campsite in the Aberdares and pitch your camping tents there, you will cook your own meals. Warm yourself with a bornfire and later retire under your tents. The campsite is secure with an overnight Kenya wildlife Service Guide.
DAY 2 - Aberdares National Park
This day is entirely reserved for game drives within the Aberdares as well as guided bush walks which will leave you marvelled at mother nature's way of conserving this great water catchment.
Exit Aberdare National Park at 1600Hrs.
You will need:
Camping materials; tent, beddings, cooking stuff etc
Cost for this Safari: Ksh 12,000 (US$ 160) - Minimum 4 Pax
Cost Include: Park entry Fees, Campsite fees, Guide fees and all the Governement Taxes.
Cost Exclude: Transport & Fuel, Meals, Camping gears and items of personal effect.
