DAY 1 NAIROBI - MASAI MARA

This remarkable day takes us south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley past Narok climb the Western Wall entering Hemingway's country "Serengeti plains" to the land of the Maasai, a cattle-herding people still proudly aloof from western civilization. Our destination, the Maasai Mara, is a magnificent park and home to Kenya's richest concentration of wildlife. Arrive in time for Lunch. After lunch and little rest, proceed to an afternoon game drive. View some of Africa's largest prides of lion, herds of zebra, antelope, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, cheetah and hyena. Dinner and overnight at a LODGE/CAMP.

DAY 2 MASAI MARA

Full day game viewing coupled with exploring this spectacular reserve. The Mara is the land of African legendl; Lions are abundant throughout the reserve, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and less commonly, Rhino. The Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park - Morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day. Dinner and overnight at a LODGE/CAMP.

DAY 3 MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI

After breakfast, proceed for a journey back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon and later transfer to the hotel or to the airport for a flight home.
